The Mushroom Collector

Quirky oil painting image of a forest with looming Beech trees and a field. Yellow leaves falling all around. Deep in the painting you can notice a man in red with a sack on his shoulder, presumably a mushroom collector.

The leaves falling in Autumn has always captured my imagination. I love the dark moody weather and the colorful blots of soft background foliage.

It is not for sale.

Lilith

A sensusous woman in a yellow bikini top emerging from the water in a forest of greenery

Lilith

The traditional and mythological lore  is that Lilith refused to submit to be subservient to Adam and left Eden. She was later demonized in folklore.  Sound familiar? A woman, cast away because she wanted to have her own mind and be treated equal. She has wings, as they appear in the mythology- I show her partnered with the feminine spirit of the world, Nature, or Gaia,  very much in charge of her domain.

This is available for purchase. Contact Lauren for more information.

This painting of Lilith won an Honorable Mention at a NJ Art Association Juried Show.
